The Story of Tebirus

THE STORY OF TEBIRUS

Tebirus was an adventurous Kodiak Bear. He also loved to eat like crazy. When he and his best buddy, Harold the Cinnamon Bear, went out on a picnic Tebirus took all the food and never shared.

Well one day Harold got tired of Tebirus's stinginess. He asked Rabbit if Tebirus had bothered him at all lately. "Well" Rabbit said. "He did steal the carrot cake my aunt Wilma baked for me". Harold was happy. That was all the information from Rabbit that he needed.

Next the bear stopped at Mole's house. "Don't tell me" Mole said. "That imbecile Tebirus stole your lunch too?" "He stole yours?" Harold asked. "Duh," Mole replied. He was a very rude mole.

Next Harold went to Wolf's house. Wolf said the same thing.

He went to Great Gray Owl's house. Great Gray Owl said yes too.

"I must have a talk with Tebirus" Harold growled.

He stomped over to Tebirus's cave. "OPEN YOUR DOOR!" he roared. Tebirus opened the door. What Harold saw surprised him. There was a nest of baby robins. "I stole your lunches to feed the little babes. Their mother died so I filled in" Tebirus said.

"Then I guess I had you wrong," Harold cheerfully replied. "I thought you did it for you and were just a selfish brute!" Tebirus laughed. "Soon the birds will grow and we'll be back to normal!"

And so the two bear friends laughed the day away. THE END.

Great Gray Owl (my favorite bird).
